Get your browsers ready because in December MojoKelt will be webcasting a "Live in the Studio" recording session from In The Shade Studios!

We will have more details very soon and will give exact instructions as to how to view the concert. There will be three ways to view the concert from anywhere in the world and it will be available online for a few weeks afterwards so no-one should miss out.

The band has been busy putting together a few new videos with a view to having them on the site in the next few weeks - these things always seem to take a lot longer than planned!

The guys have also been busy with individual projects, including Tom's appearance at the Belfast Mela in front of 20,000 people. Playing a version of "She Wore Black" amongst others, he made sure to remind everyone that the "Live at the Grange" CD is still available and selling well! Well, the band is back from Oslo and looking forward to a summer of gigs, music and recording!

The band met some amazing people in Oslo this time, as always, but we would like to say thanks to Eri Klass and Aleksandrs Antonenko for their kind words about the band - especially as they had just finished a four-hour performance at the Olso Opera House!

The band will be playing at the Magheralin Music Festival on June 6th.

Mojokelt are playing in the Courthouse Bar, Lurgan on Monday 16th March before more studio work and a trip to Norway at the beginning of May.

After a good rest over the Christmas and new year, the Mojos are back in business with new videos and music coming soon!

We have footage of last year's UNIFEM theatre gig to upload and with a bit of work we should have two or three new pieces of music for you to hear, including (we hope) Adrian on the Harp playing "Elenor Plunkett."

Apologies for the slow update to the site, but the band members have been flat out at various activities, plus spending time in the studio working on new material.

We hope to have some of he video for you soon along with a rough version of one of the songs to appear on the new album! (Fingers crossed!)

All the Mojos had an amazing day and would like to extend their thanks to Inge and Nader for their invitation to be a part of such a professional show, Marianne for keeping us on our toes and David who took over on the sound desk at very late notice!

MojoKelt was on the radio again yesterday when Tom was interviewed by Candy Divine on Downtown radio.

Candy and Tom talked for some time before Candy played the new MojoKelt recording, "The Tear That Stains Your Face."

We'll have a recording as soon as (if) we can get our hands on it!

MojoKelt have been contacted by Tim Norman writer/ director of "Beantown" an independent feature film about Irish gangsters and asked to supply music for the production's soundtrack.

Tim said "I'm beginning to work on the soundtrack and as a huge fan of Celtic rock I decided to approach your band, which I found through Myspace and really enjoy listening to."

MojoKelt are, as you would imagine, very excited by this news and will be dispatching some new music as soon as possible to Hollywood.

UPDATE 2009: As of yet MojoKelt have received no response from the filmmakers to the music sent to them. We have to assume fame and fortune will have to wait a while longer!

Well after several weeks of hard work the first song for the new MojoKelt studio album has been completed.

Entitled "The Tear That Stains Your Face", the song features Tom on vocals and Paul on Whistle. Completed for the UNIFEM UK compilation CD.

This CD can be purchased on the day of the concert, 4th October, or from the UNIFEM UK website.

The gig went well and despite a shortened set, was extremely well received.

Adrian contacted us to let us know that MojoKelt's "Live at the Grange" is being played in Crete's only Irish bar.

"Its strange hearing yourself in 30 degree heat!"

With a bit of luck the band will have some more news and dates to put on the site soon.

They are hoping to confirm a few live dates and will be going into the studio soon to do some recording, some for a new Mojo album and some for a charity project.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the Mojos in Oslo during the last few weeks!

The band had a great time and can't wait to get back! Thanks to Bally, Wayne, Gavin, Khem and everyone at the Dubliner. Hopefully the band will see you all soon!

The band is off to Norway soon for a week or so, after which they will be going into the studio to start work on some studio demos.
